PROJECT DETAILS
PROJECT NAME: Saline Bore Field Inspections
PROJECT OBJECTIVE: To perform an asset audit and condition inspection of the above-ground Saline Bore Fields assets to form a baseline of asset information and an understanding of the general asset condition of the pipeline; bores: and associated assets.
CAPABILITY:
KEY TASKS:
To visually assess the condition of all above-ground saline bore field pipeline assets, including approximately:
a. 50km of pipeline, as well as ancillary assets like isolation valves; air valves; scour valves; and support structures.
b. 16 bores; 9 pending bores; and 11 decommissioned bores, as well as ancillary assets like electrical switchboards; wiring and cabling; concrete pads and enclosures; and discharge pipework.
To update BHP’s existing asset information documentation systems by:
a. Collecting photographic evidence about the current condition of the assets and any redundant assets, as per the PIDs.
b. Collecting GPS information for all assets.
c. Reviewing the PIDs and updating them with red-line markups, as required.
PERSONNEL DETAILS
YELLOWSCOPE'S CONTRIBUTION
SERVICES PROVIDED:
1 x health check report, summarising the scope and methodology used for the inspection as well as a summary and analysis of the results.
1 x electronic Excel spreadsheet with data for all asset items including details such as:
a. Tag IDs
b. Key attribute data
c. Condition grading and defect/condition description
d. Remaining life
e. GPS coordinates
f. Photograph filename reference
Processed GIS for all pipelines, fittings and bores. A single-line feature layer was built using survey points with attributes for diameter and above/below ground.
Electronic digital image files of photographs of all assets including redundant assets (as per PIDs)
